Bob Miller, President
Bob Miller has been President of The Rochester Group since 1993 and brings a
unique combination of business intelligence and technical expertise to TRG.
Bob has over 25 years experience in product development, business applications
and software engineering. Bob is known for his unconventional creativity,
leadership, and depth of expertise on strategic issues such as forming
partnerships and charting growth opportunities. In providing value to clients,
Bob's philosophy is to start with TRG's employees - "Our company is only as
good as our people - they're the most important part of what we have to offer."
Bob has earned a Bachelor's of Science with honors from Penn State. He is on
the Board of Directors of Publick Musick and the Board of Managers of the
Memorial Art Gallery. Bob is a past member of the Board Of Directors of
the Rochester Business Alliance and also served as Board Member and president
of the Society for Information Management, Upstate New York Chapter.
Dan Harper, Vice President of Sales
and Marketing
Dan joined The Rochester Group in the summer of 2002. Dan has held a number of
senior management positions over the last 22 years in the Telecommunications
and Solutions marketplace.
Dan has held a number of sales leadership roles in both direct and indirect
sales channels. As President of Special Markets at Frontier Communications,
Dan had responsibility for all indirect sales channels as well as programs for
consumer and the SME enterprise clients. Dan has also held the position of
President & COO at Toll-Call Inc., which acted in an exclusive arrangement
with MCI for a unique offering in the Hospitality market. Prior to Toll Call,
Dan held sales and marketing management positions at MCI, Telecom USA and
Sprint.
Dan is on the board of Vertical Evolution and has an ownership position in iDashes, Inc.
Bob Bell, Director of Client
Relations
Bob joined The Rochester Group in 2005 following a 28-year career in sales
operations management at Xerox Corporation. Bob is particularly talented in
CRM, database marketing, sales productivity tools, sales territory
configuration and salesperson compensation. He has a track record of
efficiently mining information sources to efficiently target customers so
as to yield maximum revenue and profit with the most effective use of sales
resources. Since Bob has spent years grappling with the same problems as our
clients, he is particularly qualified to show the benefits of our solutions.
Bob has earned an MBA from the Rochester Institute of Technology and a
Bachelor of Science from SUNY Brockport. He is active in community affairs
through his volunteer work at the Catholic Diocese of Rochester.
